atThere is a strong need for the Haven’s services across Newfoundland and beyond—because there is a strong need for the Lord in broken lives.
There are few addiction treatment facilities on the west coast of Newfoundland for men, and none with a grounded focus as a Christian ministry. The Haven is the first Christian residential rehabilitation facility for men on the west coast.
Moreover, the Haven will be operationally self-sustaining through a hybrid model of charitable donations and various revenue-generating streams, including firewood sales, cash crops, and other initiatives to be determined.
The Haven’s facility on Route 430 is an 11,000 square-foot former federal government tele-communications centre. It is ideally situated for men in need. We are not yet open as we are still in the process of working to raise funds and develop our Facility so we can open as soon as possible.
